These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, services, and use of the website provided by NK Marquees. By making an enquiry, booking our services, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

NK Marquees provides marquee hire and event infrastructure services for weddings, private events, and corporate functions across the United Kingdom.

2. Quotes & Bookings
2.1 Quotes
All quotes provided are:
Non-binding
Subject to availability
Valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated
Prices may vary depending on site conditions, access, and final requirements.
2.2 Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed when:
Written confirmation has been issued by NK Marquees, and
The required deposit has been received
Until both conditions are met, availability is not guaranteed.
3. Payments
3.1 Deposit
A non-refundable deposit (typically 10% of the total booking value) is required to secure your booking.
3.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
3.3 Late or Non-Payment
NK Marquees reserves the right to:
Cancel bookings
Withhold installation
Charge interest on overdue payments
4. Cancellations & Changes
4.1 Client Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable
Cancellations within 14 days of the event may be charged up to 100% of the booking value
4.2 Amendments
All changes must be requested in writing.
We will attempt to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability or pricing.
5. Site Requirements & Access
The client is responsible for ensuring:
The site is suitable for marquee installation
Ground conditions are level, safe, and free from underground hazards
Adequate access is available for vehicles and equipment
Any required permissions or licences are obtained
If site conditions differ from those described:

6. Installation & Removal
Installation and dismantling times will be agreed in advance
The client must ensure access during agreed times
Delays caused by restricted access may incur additional charges
7. Weather & Force Majeure
NK Marquees is not liable for delays, damage, or inability to perform services due to events beyond our control, including:
Severe weather conditions
Acts of God
Government restrictions
Supply chain disruptions
In such cases:
We will act reasonably to minimise disruption
Refunds are not guaranteed
8. Equipment Use & Responsibility
8.1 Responsibility
All hired equipment remains the property of NK Marquees.
The client is responsible for:
Equipment during the hire period
Preventing damage, misuse, or theft
8.2 Damage or Loss
The client will be charged for:
Any loss
Damage beyond fair wear and tear
Cleaning costs if equipment is returned in poor condition
9. Health & Safety
No naked flames or cooking equipment inside marquees unless agreed
No structural modifications are permitted
Equipment must not be moved or altered
Failure to comply may:
👉 Void liability and insurance
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
NK Marquees is not liable for indirect or consequential losses
Our total liability shall not exceed the total booking value
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
11. Insurance
NK Marquees holds appropriate public liability insurance.
However, the client is advised to obtain:

12. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including:
Images
Text
Branding
is owned by NK Marquees and may not be used without permission.
13. Marketing & Media
We may take photographs of installations for:
Portfolio use
Marketing purposes
If you do not wish for this, please notify us in writing.
14. Third-Party Services
We may recommend third-party suppliers.
NK Marquees is not responsible for their services or performance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
